Subaru 2.5L and 3.0L Kit Description:
We no longer have a reliable local source for overhauling these engines. Instead we will provide our 250Z propeller speed reduction unit with fully automatic centrifugal clutch kitted together with all the parts needed to convert your Subaru 2.5L or 3.0L engine.
We can provide our 250Z with a special adapter plate for replacing the Eggenfellner gearbox if you are updating one of his conversions and retain the original forward frame.
On new conversions we have our own engine adapter to mount our 250Z PSRU to your Subaru 2.5L or 3.0L engine. The kit also includes the engine to firewall mounting frame, low profile intake manifold and throttle body, parts to relocate the alternator, side mounted radiators, exhaust manifold, and cowling modification kit for adding side radiator scoops.
Call us for recommendations of shops around the country and specifications for having a Subaru 2.5L or 3.0L engine overhauled and running with a tuned ECU system. Once we have the tested engine data the correct gear ratio can be selected to put into the 250Z PSRU. Ship us the engine and we will assemble the completed Firewall Forward Package. We will then ship back to you the completed package test run and ready to bolt onto your firewall.
All you need to do is add your propeller and propeller governor and you are ready to fly.
